Who is responsible

Fredrik Asche Kaada, Norway, runs Project 171 and is the data controller under the GDPR and the Norwegian Personal Data Act.

What is collected

• Email address — only if you join the list. Used to send Project 171 updates. Legal basis: your consent.
• Anonymous site statistics — page visited, which site referred you (for example LinkedIn or Strava), links clicked to other sites, and technical errors. No cookies, no visitor IDs, no IP addresses are stored. Browsers set to “Do Not Track” send nothing. Legal basis: legitimate interest in running a working site.

How long it is kept

Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Anonymous statistics are kept for up to 13 months.

Who processes it

Hosting and the database are provided by service providers acting on Project 171’s behalf, under data processing terms. Data is not shared for marketing.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, withdraw consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email, and complain to Datatilsynet (the Norwegian Data Protection Authority).
